This clean collagen protein has just been restocked & is ready for pick up in our office! 🙌

Bovine Gelatin (collagen) has soo many incredible whole health benefits for everyone of all ages! As hot cocoa season is here, try this delicious marshmallow recipe:

INGREDIENTS
1 cup water, divided
3 tbsp gelatin
1 cup honey
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp arrowroot powder (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
Add 1/2 cup water to a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer.

Sprinkle the gelatin evenly overtop and allow to bloom.

Add remaining water and the honey to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Start to mix the bloomed gelatin on low speed. In a slow stream, pour in the honey mixture.

Add the vanilla extract.

Turn the speed of the mixer up to high. Beat for 8-10 minutes, until it has turned into thick, glossy white marshmallow fluff. The fluff should barely drip off of the mixer.

Quickly pour the marshmallow fluff into a parchment lined baking dish or baking sheet.

Allow marshmallows to set overnight before slicing into squares. And enjoy!

“I’m Amanda, the founder of Deeply Rooted Healing. In October 2022, I opened our doors in Ankeny, Iowa, and this year we celebrate three years of walking alongside families on their wellness journeys.

I am an Advanced Trained Nutrition Response Testing® Practitioner with clinical training from UNS in Clearwater, Florida, and a Bachelor of Nursing from Upper Iowa University.

My background includes pediatrics, public health, trauma informed care certified, breastfeeding education, and I am currently pursuing certification through the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation (AHNCC).

My passion for holistic care began with my own health struggles. For years, I battled depression, anxiety, weight gain, and Hashimoto’s disease. It wasn’t until I experienced the power of whole-food nutrition, functional medicine, and lifestyle changes that I began to heal. That personal journey inspired me to help others uncover the root causes of their symptoms and reclaim their health.

Today, my work focuses on educating and empowering patients. We address hidden stressors such as toxins, chemicals, mold, and pathogens through non-invasive muscle testing and personalized nutrition plans.
